Santa’s Enchanted Village at Loch Lomond Shores is a brand new festive experience for families this Christmas. The event kicks off on Sunday, November 20 with Santa’s arrival as part of the Loch Lomond Shores Festive Lights Switch On and will run every weekend until Christmas. Extra dates have been added on December 22, 23 and 24.

Santa’s Enchanted Village aims to offer families a magical experience, with visitors first entering Rudolph’s Den to meet the elves, write their letter to Santa and post it in a special North Pole post box.

From there, they’ll get to explore the woodland village under a blanket of twinkling lights and meet some of the woodland animals who help Santa, including a Snowy Owl, Golden Eagle and more.

Hidden surprises will lead to a log cabin, where children can meet Santa and receive a small gift and a personalised Nice List certificate.

The final part of the journey includes a walk through a woodland path, following the lights and spotting Santa’s woodland friends and festive features. The whole experience takes place within Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre and the surrounding woodland.

Kat Kennedy, event organiser, said: “Christmas is a special time of year and our aim is to deliver a fun and magical experience for families that they’ll thoroughly enjoy.

“This brand new concept within The Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre and surrounding woodland will see the area transformed into a festive scene with lots of different activities, lights, sounds and real life owls and birds for little ones and adults to enjoy along the way.

“We have been delighted at the response so far, tickets only went on sale last week and already they are going very quickly.’’
