Sorrow for soldier Drummer Lee Rigby
Tributes have been left at a war memorial in Cumbernauld Village for Drummer Lee Rigby, who was tragically killed in Woolwich, last month.
Locals have left flowers and messages of condolence at the war memorial.
One reader, who contacted the News and Chronicle about the tribute, said: “I think this has effected everyone and it is great to see the local community come together to pay tribute this way.
“I am sure there is tributes elsewhere but it is nice to see folk in Cumbernauld paying tribute in this way.”
