Sorry Laura, but you’re fired says Lord Sugar

A BRIDAL entrepreneur from Bishopbriggs heard the dreaded words ‘you’re fired’ last week, but she is determined we won’t have seen the last of her.

Laura Hogg was given the boot by Lord Alan Sugar on BBC hit show ‘The Apprentice’.

The 28-year-old previously found fame performing with Torvil and Dean when she was an ice skater,

Laura – who has a four-year-old son, Reece – won a Scottish Apprentice-style competition – ‘The Hirer’ – three years ago, which saw her land a job with Fake Bake.

She later left and set up her own bridal firm in Glasgow.

Laura was on the wrong end of the famous Sugar ‘point’ when she was on the losing team in an art task.

She signed off in the boardroom with a now-legendary quip – “take care” – and has been on a whirlwind publicity tour over the last week.
