Spate of car break-ins
Officers in East Renfrewshire are appealing to drivers to check their car doors at night.
The latest appeal follows six thefts from vehicles on Tuesday night, all near Whitecraigs Golf Club.
Inspector Alan Dickson told The Extra: “If anyone saw anything near Craignethan Road or the surrounding street, please get in touch.
“I would, again, urge people to make sure their vehicle is secure before going to bed at night.”
The theives made off with cash, sunglasses and a jacket from the cars targeted.
