Special service celebrates new lieutenants
A Bishopbriggs teenager has been commissioned as a lieutenant in the Girls' Brigade at a service in Glasgow Cathedral.
Rachael Noble, from the 92nd Glasgow GB Company attached to Cadder Parish Church, was one of 12 commissions.
The captain of the 92nd, Louise Beattie, said: “It was a lovely service as all the families of the girls were present. We warmly welcome Rachael and are all looking forward to working with our newest member of the team.”
