Biggar Young Farmers played their usually highly active part in the Biggar Show proceedings on Saturday.

Amongst the many fun activities they ran or took part uin was the traditional `dunking tank’ of water (pictured, right).

The club would like to thank everyone who came along to their stand at the show.

Despite the cold and windy weather, it was a great turn-out, especially around the aforemnentioned tank!

Congratulations go to the club hockey team for placing 1st at Lanarkshire Tournament on Sunday.

On Friday it is the club’s “field night” and it would be great to see as many members, friends and family as possible along at the showfield at 7pm. Another reminder that summer ball tickets are now on sale.

Carluke YFC says thank you to everyone who came along to its Treasure Hunt on Sunday night with a fantastic 14 teams taking part.

Well done to the winning teams; in 1st place was Sandra Gardiner and Friends; in 2nd place Amy Douglas and Team and in 3rd place was Eilleen’s Doll’s.

The club are hosting a stand at Carnwath Show on Saturday and invite everyone to come along.

It is the club’s Volleyball tournament on Thursday, July 30 and the club host the Lanarkshire Stockjudging competition at Greenwall Farm, Climpy on August 7 with a dance to follow at the same venue.
