Sudanese man '˜found in lorry' at Eurocentral
A Sudanese man found in the back of a truck at Eurocentral, near Holytown, has been arrested and detained over suspected immigration offences.
Reports suggest the man (26), was discovered by warehouse workers at the business park in the back of a lorry, and immigration enforcement was informed on Thursday afternoon.
He was held under the Immigration Act, and is understood to be held at the Dungavel immigration detention centre while his case is reviewed.
