Teen knocked down by van in Newton Mearns
A 14-year-old girl has been taken to hospital after being knocked down by a van in Newton Mearns.
Police Scotland were called to the scene at Barrhead Road, at the junction with Greenfarm Road, at 2.15pm.
The teenager was taken to the Southern General Hospital, where she was detained, and is said to be in stable condition.
