The event starts outside the garden centre at 2pm, and walkers will follow a marked route, taking part in a commonwealth quiz as they stroll.

The walk lasts half an hour, and everyone who takes part will be in with a chance of winning a mystery prize.

Walkers are also invited to wear an item or outfit of their choice from their favourite Commonwealth Games sport .

It’s one of many opportunities to get moving, as throughout June, a new walking group for older adults will be taking to the park on Sunday afternoons.

The group leaves at 3pm, and they keep the pace of the slowest walker throughout.
