Thieves steal car and smash it into sub station
Police are hunting two thieves who stole a car from a North Lanarkshire village and crashed it into an electricity sub station.
The thieves swiped the blue Volkswagen Passatt from Station Road in Muirhead around 2.30am on Friday, April 17.
The two men then fled after the vehicle collided with the sub station on Muirhead Road.
Police are appealing for witnesses. If you can help, contact them on 101.
