Jennifer Di Mambro, depute head in charge of S3/4, paid tribute to the pupils as well as
their teachers.

She said: “Having 14 pupils achieve straight As for their National 5s is definitely the most we have ever had and we are so pleased they have done so well.

“To have 30 in total achieving either seven or eight As is just fantastic and shows that they are working hard across all their subjects, whether they involve practical elements or more traditional classroom learning.

“We have great staff here who give up their own time willingly to provide support at lunchtimes and after school and we also regularly track progress to ensure pupils keep on the right path to achieve the results they hope for.

“However, it is still up to the pupils to perform on exam day and to have done so in such an excellent manner is a testament to the work they have all put in.

“We are thrilled to be able to celebrate and share in the success of our pupils, but we are never complacent and I’m sure as we start a new school year the current S4 will already be looking to do even better.”
