Top students at Lanark Grammar School

Lanark Grammar is extremely proud of its students who, through hard work, achieved their goal of five or more highers in this year's SQA exams.

Those gaining five highers were Lauren McAuslan, Calum Anderson, Lucas Anderson, Clara Begg, Craig Black, Jordan Brylka, Rachael Cameron, Eve Cardwell, Ben Clark, Andrew Cummings, Christina Eadie, Georgie French, Abe Galloway, Tasha Graham, Morgan Hillier, Esme Kelso, Joanna Laing, Kari Laughlan, Sarah Lowe, Sophie Marriott, Elizabeth Martin, James McClafferty, Adam McGinley, Eilidh McTaggart, Emily Millar, Abigail Murray, Emily Noble, Eilidh O’Brien, Kay Sidney, James Stewart, Kien Welch, and Lewis Wilson.

Alicia Higgins attained six highers and Morgan Gillespie and Ayla Mascarenhas gained four highers and one advanced higher.

And selected through a rigorous process of application form, interview and a vote following a presentation to their peers and staff, this year’s captains at Lanark Grammar are Lucas Anderson and Abe Galloway.

Vice captains are Shiona McClafferty and Elizabeth Martin.
