Trains cancelled and delayed due to signal problem

Train services between Glasgow Queen Street and Falkirk Grahamston may be cancelled, delayed or terminated and started back from Cumbernauld due to the signalling system problem at Queen Street.

Services between Glasgow Queen Street and Falkirk Grahamston will only run between Glasgow Queen Street and Cumbernauld. Services will depart Queen Street at 24 minutes past the hour and depart Cumbernauld at 40 minutes past the hour.

Services from the Glasgow station to Edinburgh via Falkirk High might also be cancelled, delayed or diverted to Falkirk Grahmston.

Services between Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh are operating on a reduced service departing Edinburgh at 00 and 30 minutes past the hour and departing Queen Street at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour, calling at Falkirk Grahamston, Polmont, Linlithgow and Haymarket in both directions.

The disruption is expected to last until noon say Scotrail.

A replacement bus shuttle service has been requested to operate between Falkirk Grahamston and Falkirk High, but this is not yet in place.
