Christmas and New Year bus times 2019/2020

Bus operator First Glasgow has announced its timetables for the Christmas and New Year period.

From Monday, December 23 until Saturday, January 4, revised service levels will be in operation over the festive season.

Monday, December 23

Normal Monday timetables will operate except services 74A, 120 and 404 which will not operate.

Tuesday, December 24 & 31

Saturday timetables will operate except services M1, M2, M4, 14, 29, 49, 59, 93, 94, 128, 129, 202, 205, 210, 251 and 299 which will operate a normal weekday timetable, but most services will be withdrawn from around 9pm.

A special timetable will operate on service 242 for Maxim.

Extra peak journeys will operate on services 1, 7A, X8, X11 and X87.

Early morning SPT journeys will operate on Services 88C & 89.

Night services will not operate.

There will be no service on Wednesday, December 25

Thursday, December 26 and & January, 2 2020

Sunday timetables will operate on all services.

Service 500, Glasgow and Glasgow Airport will start at 04:30hrs from Glasgow Buchanan Street and 05:00hrs from Glasgow Airport.

Friday, December 27 and & Friday, January 3

Saturday timetables will operate except services M1, M2, M4, 14, 29, 49, 59, 93, 94, 128, 129, 202, 205, 210, 251 and 299 which will operate a normal weekday timetable.

A Special timetable will operate on service 242 for Maxim.

Extra peak journeys will operate on services 1, 7A, X8, X11 and X87.

Early morning SPT journeys will operate on Services 88C & 89.

Night services will operate.

Normal Saturday timetables will operate on December 28 with normal Sunday services running on December 29

Monday, December 30

Saturday timetables will operate except services M1, M2, M4, 14, 29, 49, 59, 93, 94, 128, 129, 202, 205, 210, 251 and 299 which will operate a normal weekday timetable.

A Special timetable will operate on service 242 for Maxim.

Extra peak journeys will operate on services 1, 7A, X8, X11 and X87.

Early morning SPT journeys will operate on Services 88C & 89.

Night services will not operate.

Wednesday, January 1

Service 500, Glasgow and Glasgow Airport will operate from 0500hrs until 2400 hrs, every 20 or 30 minutes.

No other services will operate.
