More roadworks in central Cumbernauld
There will be a temporary closure of the A8011 southbound slip road to B8054 Lyle Brae, from 8am to 5pm on Sunday, April 30. This is to allow the installation of new LED lighting.
The following Sunday, May 7, it will be the northbound slip road to Lyle Brae which is to be closed, again to install new lighting. This will also be done from 8am to 5pm.
In both cases diversions will be signposted.
Lighting installation will also be carried out on the A8011 link road between Central Way and the Braehead Roundabout from 8am until 5pm on Sunday, April 23 from 8am to 5pm. Traffic will be diverted through Central Way, Wilderness Brae, Old Inns roundabout, Wilderness Brae and the slip road.
