Tribute to Rabbie from St Machan's pupils
Pupils at St Machan's Primary School in Lennoxtown paid tribute to Scotland's bard with a Burns Supper recently.
Highlights for the P5-P7 youngsters included the piping in of the haggis, the address to the haggis, the story of Tam O’Shanter and the toast to the lassies and laddies.
Head teacher Julie Harvie said: “A spec ial thank you goes to Mrs Murray, our wonderful storyteller and to Luke Stewart from Strathblane Primary who played the bagpipes for us.”
