Two arrested on knife charges
A schoolboy and a 28-year-old man were arrested and charged with possession of an offensive weapon in two separate incidents on Saturday night.
The 14-year-old was arrested by police at Woodhill Road in Bishopbriggs around 6.15pm. He was also charged with a breach of the peace.
The 28-year-old was detained in custody after being arrested at Back O Loch Road in Kirkintilloch and charged with assault, breach of the peace and being in possession of a bladed article.
