The last definite time he was seen was at a friend’s house in Park Road, Clydebank on Sunday, January 17 around 12pm.

He is described as white, around 6ft 2 inches tall, medium build, red hair and beard, Stuart also wears glasses and has a distinctive stilted walk. He is believed to be wearing a dark-coloured waterproof jacket and was carrying a black/grey rucksack.

Officers are currently carrying out extensive enquiries locally and they are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen him in Park Road, Dalmuir train station and Dumbarton Road.

He has previously been found in Mallaig and Old Kilpatrick when reported missing and there is a possibility that he has travelled out of the Clydebank area.

Sgt Kirsten Stobo at Dumbarton Police Office said: “Although Stuart has been reported missing a couple of times before, it is quite unusual for his family and friends not to have seen or heard from him. They are worried for his wellbeing and just want to know he is safe and well.

“There has been an unconfirmed sighting of Stuart on Dumbarton Road on Monday but officers are checking CCTV to verify this. We are particularly keen to establish Stuart’s movements from when he left his friend’s house in Park Road on Sunday.”
