Update: Man arrested in connection with attempted murder in Govanhill
A 52 year old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of a man in the Govanhill.
At around 9.10pm on Sunday, December 23 a 52 year old man was walking along Dixon Avenue with his partner when he was approached by another man.
The man produced a metal bar and proceeded to attack the man, before pushing the woman to the ground.
He is due before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, December 27 and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
