Vet School Rodeo is on this weekend at Garscube Estate

It's all happening this weekend, with the popular Vet School Rodeo taking place on Saturday, from 11am to 5pm.

The event, organised by students from Glasgow University Veterinary Medical Association (GUVMA),is being held at Garscube Estate, in Bearsden.

It’s a great day out for all the family with loads of entertainment and over 30 charity booths on the day.

Children and adults will get the chance to meet a variety of dogs, cuddle some small furry animals and even hold different reptiles.

There will also be a dog agility demonstration and the chance to see birds of prey close up thanks to a falconry display. Children can also enjoy games and buy some unique hand-made crafts.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the following charities: Horse Rescue Scotland, Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, The Trusty Paws Clinic and Students for Animals In Need.

All raffle proceeds will go to Riding for the Disabled.

Tickest cost £7 for adults, £3 concession and £15 for a family (two adults and two children).
