We thought we had perhaps escaped the brunt of Storm Frank, however commuters were having difficulty on both road and rail networks due to heavy rain causing flooding on the railway between Patterton and Neilston, train services between Glasgow Central and Neilston had to be cancelled or were delayed. Scotrail provided replacement road transport which operated between Barrhead and Neilston.

Further problems were also reported due to flooding on the railway at Busby with train services between Glasgow Central and East Kilbride disrupted.

Customers are advised that all rail services are now back to a normal operating timetable.
