Golfers at Bishopbriggs have spotted an unusual family living on the fairways - parakeets.
The birds are often kept as exotic family pets, but have increased in popularity in the wild. In southern counties of the UK they outnumber native woodland birds like kingfishers and woodpeckers, although they remain rare north of the border.
