Volunteer Michelle proves an inspiration

Michelle Blair (21) began attending the project as a youngster and moved onto volunteering.

As well as appearing on the new list, produced by the YMCA Young Women’s Movement, Michelle was a recent finalist in the Youthlink Youth Worker of the Year Awards.

She has so far dedicated over 600 hours of volunteering for Reeltime Music.

Michelle said: “I have volunteered for four years at every opportunity that I could. As soon as I finished my day job, I headed straight to Reeltime to volunteer in the workshops or help out the staff.

“I absolutely love working for Reeltime because it lets me work with young people, and that is my dream job.”
