Vote today in our Draw your Mum competition

THERE’s still time to see the hundreds of entries for our fabulous Draw Your Mum competition.

Over 300 local children put their creativity to the test and painted portraits of their mums - far too many for us to print or put on display in the office. Instead, Dobbies Garden Centre at Westerwood, Cumbernauld – which is putting up two £50 prizes – is acting as a gallery, and every picture is still on display.

To vote, pop out to Dobbies and take a note of the number displayed on the front of the drawing you like the most and fill in the coupon published in the paper this week on page 4.

Votes can only be cast on the official entry form - photocopies not allowed - but you can submit as many coupons for your favourite as you wish. Send the form to us at: The News and Chronicle, 10-12 Tay Walk, Cumbernauld G67 1BU, to reach us no later than noon on Wednesday, March 27. The winner in each age group will receive a £50 voucher from Dobbies as their prize.

Dobbies is open Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm and Sunday 10am to 6pm. Visit the garden centre at Eastfield Road, Westerwood, to see the great local talent on display.
