Walk through Lanark in the Footsteps of William Wallace
William Wallace is playing his part in making Lanark look a bit more inviting.
Lanark Community Development Trust has placed these illustrations on the boarded up windows of the Royal Oak Hotel in the town.
The boards tell the story of Wallace in Lanark and show the route of the Wallace Trail, In the Footsteps of William Wallace which the Trust is developing. It received a grant of £400 from South Lanarkshire Council’s Community Fund.
