It will be chaired by the speaker of the House of Commons, the Rt Hon John Bercow, and will be broadcast live on BBC Parliament.

Nicole, from Newton Mearns, has been a member of the SYP since 2012 and is one of three young people from East Ren sitting on the parliament.

The 17-year-old told The Extra: “I am really looking forward to the debate and being in the House of Commons.

“It’s a real privilege to sit on the green benches where the likes of prime ministers Winston Churchill and Tony Blair have sat.”
