What do we need more of in town?

Readers in every town I have ever worked in have always wanted more. More stories and pictures in their paper, more facilities in the community.

This week the BMX track in Cumbernauld is one step closer to fruition, as it moves along the formal planning process.

And we asked our readers what they wanted to see more of in the area.

In a mixed bag of answers, people wanted more shops, more sports facilities and more for non sporty types -that gives a little inkling of just how hard it is to please everyone.
