Who'll eat all the pies?

And at Saturday’s Eaglesham Fair this ancestral carnivorous trend will be both celebrated and put to the ultimate test ... with a pie-eating contest, live on stage.

The challenge is being held in association with G R Brown Butchers, and features that company’s very popular award-winning pies.

It’s just one colourful highlight of a day packed with events and entertainment, and while it’s not all about food - far from it - there’s a bake-off contest to be won as well.
