Wiston Lodge Grand Day Out 2014 Slideshow

HUNDREDS of visitors flocked to Biggar on Saturday for the Grand Day Out at Wiston Lodge, which featured an exciting range of free activities and attractions.

These included canoeing, bush craft, climbing wall and tree climbing, plus archery and local community stands and displays.

Entertainment also came via the Glasgow Vikings, Drum Circle with Wiston’s Paul Dear & Limelight, Capoeira, Malcolm’s Birds of Prey, Neigh Whips, Les-Fest live bands, graffiti artists, YMCA Dumfries Chill Zone and Penalty Shoot Out and the Artisans in the craft tent.

Wiston Lodge general manager Tony Burley said: “This is the fourth year we have run this event, with a record turnout this year. Great fun was had by all!”
