Woman '˜suffered racial abuse' on bus to Springburn

Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to after a young woman was allegedly racially abused on a bus to Springburn.

The incident is said to have happened on the number 75 bus from Maryhill’s Garscube Road to Hawthorn Street, Sprinburn, on Thursday, October 12.

The man police want to trace is in his 50s, medium build, with dark brown greying hair, and spoke with a local accent.

He was wearing a white t-shirt, dark grey knitted jumper, black jacket and was carrying a rucksack. The male was also wearing a black Nike baseball cap.

Officers from the Local Policing Team in Maryhill are appealing to anyone who recognises the man in the released CCTV images to contact them at Maryhill Police Station.
