Woodlands teacher retires

Pupils at Woodlands Primary School said their fond farewells to Mrs Helen Telford, who has taught at the school since 2000, at a special assembly held in her honour.

Mrs Telford had previously taught in Langlands Primary before the schools were amalgamated.

Mrs Telford also enjoyed a retiral dinner in her honour at the Dullatur Golf Club, and colleagues past and present were out in force.

Headteacher Miss Nicola Ferguson, said: “I wish Mrs Telford a long and happy retirement.”
