Cheryl Taylor, a tutor of ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages ) said: “Our learners are always looking for ways to practise their English and integrate into the community.

“The World Café is a fantastic way of giving everyone the chance to come together and use the English they learn in the classroom in everyday conversation.

“It is also an opportunity for people to speak to others about any issues they may have and to gain the support of newfound friends.”

Comments from people who went along to a previous world café include: “I liked meeting people from different countries.”
