There are free events at libraries across East Ren this week, marking Book Week Scotland.

From ceilidh dancing to children’s Gaelic songs and stories and Bonny Bookbug — the popular regular sessions for youngsters but with a Scottish twist — there’s plenty to choose from.

On November 25 illustrator of the Tracy Beaker books Nick Sharratt will be at Giffnock Library, 11am until noon.
