Fiddler Sean Allan and saxophonist Jennifer Park showed off their skills to Carluke Development Trust general manager Kathleen Feeney as they got ready to perform at Carluke Lifestyles Centre, the new venue for the concert on Thursday, October 2.

Kathleen said: “Jennifer is an amazing saxophonist while Sean is an award-winning fiddler who will represent the current crop of musical talent while Amie Aitken, a very recent former pupil, will also perform before she goes on tour.

“Amie released her debut EP last year. Her music brings together a blend of catchy pop and soul melodies with intentionally thought provoking lyrics.

“It should be great and tickets are now on sale at Carluke Lifestyles Centre reception.”

Performances will also come from Carluke Opera, the Kirkton Players and Carluke Primrose Orchestral Flutes with the evening being compered by local favourite Johnny Muldoon.

“We will have the wonderful sounds of Carluke’s Orchestral Flutes alongside a one act play from Kirkton Players called In The Blinking Of An Eye,” said Kathleen.
