Your vote could get the boys a new bus

The 212th Glasgow Boys’ Brigade, in Bishopbriggs, has kicked-off an appeal to help buy a new minibus.

The group have been nominated for a cash award from the OneFamily Foundation, and will now compete with other organisations for the money via a public vote.

Linda Ritchie, captain of the 212th, said: “We were delighted and grateful to be nominated for this funding. If successful, access to a minibus allows us to broaden the scope of our programme and delivery of it much easier.

“But we also see the minibus as being of benefit to other not-for-profit organisations in the local community by making it available for hire to them.”

Voting runs until midday on June 29.
