The store will be designed in line with Zara’s latest store concept and will also feature integrated online services. Christophe Kuhbier, head of investments, Europe at Henderson Park, said: “Zara’s new and enhanced store at Silverburn is a clear illustration of where we see the future of physical retail – a striking, experiential flagship that complements a successful brand’s omnichannel offering.”
The news follows other recent announcements at Silverburn, including the addition of The White Company, TAG Heuer, All Saints, Polestar and Rituals to its line-up. During 2023, the shopping centre welcomed over 15 million visitors.

Hide AdSigned on a 15-year lease, the Zara store is one of three reconfigured units at the Debenhams site, which closed in 2020 after the department store chain collapsed into administration. Discussions with other retailers on the remaining space are ongoing.
The store, set to open later this year, will shares its design with the retailer's other flagships including London’s Battersea Power Station and allow customers to pick up online orders.
It comes after private equity real estate firm Henderson Park acquired Silverburn in 2022 for £140m alongside Eurofund Group, which acts as Henderson Park’s operating partner.
Alberto Esguevillas, CEO of UK Retail at Eurofund Group, added: "We decided the best option was to deliver three new high quality anchor units that will appeal to leading international brands and diversify the offer for Silverburn’s customer. We are delighted to have secured a new flagship Zara for the space, which will be one of their largest stores in Scotland."
