Antiques Roadshow is returning - and here's how to get on the show

Art, furniture, vintage toys, old war relics... if you've got some old treasure gathering dust in your attic and would like to have it appraised on Antiques Roadshow this summer, the show's producers are inviting you to get in touch.

“The best part of working on Antiques Roadshow is that we never know who or what is going to turn up on the day," says Antiques Roadshow presenter Fiona Bruce.

"The visitors, the objects they bring, their stories and the location all combine to make a fabulous experience that we aim to capture for the viewers.

"If you are a fan of Antiques Roadshow, curious to see behind the scenes, or just fancy a day out, I would urge you to dig out your treasures and come along – we’d love to see you.”

Antiques Roadshow records programmes across the UK, throughout the year, with some of Britain's leading antiques and fine arts specialists.

At the recordings, the specialists are on hand to offer free advice and valuations to visitors who are invited to raid their attics and bring along their family heirlooms, household treasures and car boot bargains for inspection.

"Some of our best on air items have fascinating tales that can be moving, revelatory or humorous. Or perhaps there’s something you’d like to bring along to an Antiques Roadshow, but not sure how you will get it there like a collection or large piece of furniture?”
