Every Liverpool fan should experience at least one night of European football at Anfield in their lives
As last night’s seven-goal thriller showed, a European night at Anfield can produce some awe-inspiring football that every Liverpool fan should experience at least once. Naturally, tickets are always in very high demand and difficult to get but there are options for those who want to experience that unique Anfield magic.
Tuesday’s dramatic 4-3 victory over Villareal pushed Andoni Iraola’s side into second place in the Champions League standings and whetted the appetite for Liverpool’s next Champions League home game against FC Porto, the last European game at Anfield before Christmas, to be played on Wednesday, December 9.
Of the 16 times that Liverpool have faced FC Porto, only once has the match ended in a draw, with the Reds winning nine of these encounters with the Portuguese side.
There is a way to be there at Anfield for the match, however, but fans need to act quickly as VIP and hospitality tickets for European games have a habit of selling out fast.
Fortunately, VIP and official premium ticketing site Seat Unique has a few options available, including The Village package priced at £339, which allows fans to savour the atmosphere and excitement in style before the 8pm kick-off.
The Village package includes tickets in the Kenny Dalglish Stand, a two-course buffet and complimentary drink 300 metres from the stadium so rest assured you’ll never walk alone to the match. The deal also comes with a night in a 3* hotel.

As a gauge of demand, there are currently only five tickets remaining for the premium Brodies package on Seat Unique here, priced at £449 per person, which includes pre-match entertainment, a night for two in a 3* hotel, premium padded seats in the New Anfield Road stand and, as the name suggests, access to the Brodies Lounge three hours before kick-off.
Here, there is complimentary food and a half-time drink, a licensed bar, and even the chance to meet a Liverpool legend.
For those who do want the sights and sounds of a European night at Anfield, this is one of the cheaper hospitality options in the coming weeks and months with only a few matches working out cheaper.
Alternatively, for fans on a budget, the match can be seen by subscribers to HBO Max here or TNT Sports which is available via Sky here.
For those looking for an extra-special Christmas gift for the Liverpool fan in their lives, VIP Seat Unique tickets for French side RC Lens’ visit to Anfield on Wednesday, January 27, start from £249, including a night in a 3* hotel that can be altered if needs be.
