City will face the champions of Ukraine, Zhilstroy-1, the champions of Slovakia, FC Union Nove Zamky, and the champions of Northern Ireland, Glentoran.

Head coach Eddie Wolecki Black said: “As hosts we are looking to pull as many advantages as we can and this means being able to utilise not only our full squad but also a number of our youth players to help us manage the hectic match schedule.

“You can really start to feel the buzz around the club now, especially with some of our new players who you can hear asking their team mates what to expect and so on.

“It is exciting for everyone in the Champions League and off the back of the Commonwealth Games.
