Badminton brings youngsters together
Young people of all faiths came together recently for an inclusive game of badminton.
The Scottish Interfaith Badminton Tournament was organised by the Woodfarm Education Centre in partnership with Orchardhill Park Church and the Maccabi Centre in Giffnock, and took place at Williamwood High sports hall.
Amir Hussain, of the Woodfarm Educational Trust, said that the event — the first of its kind — was a great success, and added: “Many congratulations to Miles Felletti for winning the under 16s, and Umar Farooq for winning the under 18s.”
