Carluke cyclist Sean Gordon wins Scottish championship

TEENAGE Carluke rider Sean Gordon has gone from strength to strength since spending many happy hours as a young child cycling during family holidays in France.

Sean (17) now competes throughout the year and was delighted to win the 2012-2013 season’s overall Scottish Cyclo-Cross Championship series in the Junior 16 to 18-year-old category.

“This is the first time I’ve won something so big and I’m absolutely ecstatic to have done so,”

he said.
