Colin, speaking after Saturday’s 1-1 Central Division 1 draw at Vale of Clyde kept Rovers in second place, said: “We’ve done a lot of hard work on the training ground since our bad start to the season.

“A big part of the successful run has been maintaining our big squad.

“A lot of other teams have been badly hit by injuries, suspensions and work commitments at a busy time of the year when there is a regular midweek programme of fixtures.

“But that hasn’t been the case for us. Our strength in depth has been very important.”

Elsewhere on Saturday Lesmahagow defeated Benburb 3-0, Lanark United lost 1-0 at Renfrew and Forth defeated Newmains 3-2.
