Thirteen-year-old Jack has attended weekly after school-sessions at Magiscroft Fishery in Condorrat. These sessions have included fish care, bait, knot tying and fish anatomy. In one of the sessions he caught 53 fish in under two hours.

Lesley Arkison, Scottish coordinator of the charity, said: “Jack is the first participant in North Lanarkshire to complete module one and has completed it to a very high standard indeed.”
