Charlie Telfer attended Kirkfield Utd prize night
LANARK’S own Charlie Telfer – a star Premiership footballer with Dundee United – was guest of honour at Kirkfield United FC 2002s’ prize night.
Charlie (19) presented trophies at St Mary’s Clubrooms and reminisced about his own time playing with Lanark team Kirkfield as a seven-year-old.
Kirkfield Utd official Karen Tennant said: “It was a brilliant night. Charlie was very good with the boys and very encouraging. He is a very nice lad.
“He just told the boys to believe in themselves and anything would be possible for them.”
