City have all to play for on Sunday

League leaders Glasgow City make the short journey to East Kilbride’s K Park this Sunday to take on fourth placed Celtic in a 2pm kick off. It is the second time City head coach Scott Booth will set his side up against their Premier League rivals, with Booth having faced Celtic in his very first game in charge, winning 3-0 at home at the end of July. However, it was a much tighter affair before Booth came onboard when City narrowly won 2-1 at East Kilbride earlier in the season and he is well aware of the challenge Celtic can pose if his team are not fully prepared and at the top of their game. He said: “Last time around, Celtic made things very tough for us. It was a hard fought win in my first game in charge but it got us the three points we needed.“Since then, I feel we have improved in all sorts of ways and we are focused on maintaining our high standards. It is important that we take the game to Celtic and play at a high tempo throughout.”After missing last weekend’s win over Rangers through injury, City welcome back Scottish international Hayley Lauder and her addition will be an added boost to the champions squad for the visit to Celtic.Entry at K Park is £5 adults and U16s go free.
