Confidence is high for Barrhead U-14s’ youth cup campaign
Barrhead YFC 2001’s under 14 team are playing away against Broomhill in the quarter finals of the Scottish Youth FA Cup on Saturday at Scotstoun Stadium. Coach Richard Elrick said: “The boys have worked very hard this season, its great to see them progressing.”
After many well fought and far travelled games including a great win to one of the favorites Jervistone, the team are confident of a good result to take them to the final at Airdrie, emulating the under 19’s Barrhead side that won the title last year.
Such a shame that coach Elrick will miss seeing his team – and his son Kyle – play for their place in the final.
