Ex Biggar star Fraser Brown in Scotland World Cup squad

FORMER Biggar Rugby Club star Fraser Brown has been selected in Scotland’s 2015 World Cup squad.

This is rich reward for Fraser, a stand out in Glasgow’s hugely successful Pro 12 Championship winning squad. He has shone not only at his favoured position of hooker, but also featuring as emergency cover in the back row.

Biggar Rugby Club president Alistair Stewart said: “We wish Fraser all good luck for the tournament. The squad will be bolstered by Glasgow and Edinburgh’s recent successes and has the potential to do well although there are some tough pool games to survive.”

The event will be staged in England and Wales in September and October.
