Newton Mearns man and football pundit Jim Delahunt along with the rest of the Superscoreboard team are inviting their callers to hang up the phone, and lace up their boots next month.

At the inaugural Sun Goals Superscoreboard cup, the winners will have the chance to win not only the approval of Hugh Keevins and Derek Johnstone, but also an amazing three night cruise break to Amsterdam.

After the tournament, which takes place on Sunday, October 12 at Glasgow Goals south, the panel will take a rest from giving the amateurs pelters and turn their attention to the pros at the SSB pop-up studio.

Jim Delahunt, Clyde 1 Superscoreboard presenter, said: “The Superscoreboard team is really looking forward to the inaugural Sun Goals cup. As always, I’m sure there will be plenty of skills on show, not to mention plenty of banter.”

Entry to Glasgow and the West’s best 5-a-side tournament, the Sun Goals Superscoreboard Cup, is just £84 (£12 per player for a team of seven).
