Clyde boss Ferguson says there’s more to come from four-goal Gormley

The Bully Wee hitman became the first Clyde player for over 30 years to hit four goals in a game as The Broadwood side hammered their hosts 5-0.
Danny Masterton was the last player to do for the then Shawfield club in a 5-0 win at Arbroath - Pat Nevin getting the other goal - in April 1982.

But Ferguson admitted afterwards; “I said to him I wasn’t happy with some of his play, still. He became slack and he knows that.
“But David Gormley on that kind of form can score goals for fun. he’s got everything in his locker; he just needs to keep concentrating for 90 minutes.”
The Clyde boss was delighted with his side’s third successive win which pushed them up to second in the League 2 table.
He said: “It was a good performance. I said to them before the game it was a difficult place to come.

“I looked back and Clyde have not got a great record here. I knew we had to come here where the surface is heavy and on a bit of a slope so I’m delighted. Our effort and our commitment was there for everybody to see.”
Clyde have no game this Saturday due to the Scottish Cup.
