Clyde slammed for ‘disgraceful’ end to season

Clyde manager Jim Duffy was left with much to ponder following a ‘disgraceful’ end to the season at Montrose on Saturday.

The Bully Wee had enjoyed an unbeaten April, but the season ended in the worst possible way as the Angus club ran out 5-0 winners at Links Park.

Duffy decided there was no point in lambasting his troops in the dressing room, but hinted many of them may no longer have a future at the Broadwood club.

He said: “It was a disgraceful performance from our point of view and Montrose thoroughly deserved their comprehensive victory.”
